looking back: Seminar Windhoek 4.-5.August 2007

There was a very powerful seminar in Windhoek, Namibia in English language on

"How to solve problems in relations with family constellations"

at 4. August 07.

After a very short introduction, we had some family constellations of very different types. Some attendants had severe problems in their relation to their parents, there were feelings of anger, of being abandoned, of depression.

In two cases, in the constellation, we found out that we had to look at several deaths in the mothers' original families. This caused the mothers to look away from their present families, thus it seemed for the children that their mothers were absent emotionally.

I was helpful to place a representative for the dead persons also.

Then a next step was to bow down before the mother and give her the honour she deserves. This was done not by the representatives, but by the help-seeking persons themselves. They were very moved. They felt an energy of love and power.

In an other constellation, we had to sort a patchwork family. It was interesting, and also a bit funny.

We had a good fellowship.

Some of us were interviewed for the NBC "tupopyeni" show later.

Thanks very much to all who participated and helped, and all who carried others' burdens for a time in representing them at the constellation.

Also those who did not an own constellation, learned a lot. A pastor, who was at the seminar,  said "It was powerful, I thank God for learning about this therapy way".

The next seminar in Windhoek will be in February 2009.
